Johana decided to look around a little to just to occupy her time, she was bored so it kept her entertained too. She strolled along one of the many walls tracing her hand along it. She felt the bumps and creases of the wall. She picked up her long purple skirt that was dragging on the ground. She wanted to run but quickly decided not to since her feet were making noises at they walked along the floor and it bothered her, running would only make it worse.
She yawned as she kept walking along the wall her hand was tracing. She smiled at all the portraits she had to jump over so she didn't knock them down. She would listen to a few of them behind her wonder why she was doing what she was or saying it was peculiar that she had silver hair at the age eleven. She just laughed to herself.
She loved to hear people talk about her, it made her laugh, because that meant that they were thinking about her. She thought if funny since none of them actually knew her personally. They were making guesses, assumptions, of what she was like. She started to hum a little to herself unnoticeable as she traced her hand along the wall smiling each time she would have to move her hand off the wall and back on it.

Gyan walked down the hallway, sopping wet, only in his swimming trunks with his robe thrown over him. He was clutching a metal bucket full of what looked like black snail shells with heavily cut hands.
He was looking extremely plesed with himself. He saw Johana and gave a hearty wave, splashing water and blood on the nearest portrait, who began to yell furiously at him. "Hullo, Johana. Beautiful day, isn't it?"

Johana was taken aback by Gyan's voice. She didn't know anyone was on this floor. She thought it was empty. She didn't care though, she loved Gyans company. He was a powerful wizard and he was really smart. She turned around and smiled warmly at him. She waved with the hand that was tracing the wall.
"Yes, it is a lovely day! And hello to you too, Gyan." She smiled and started to head toward him still holding her skirt so it wouldn't drag on the ground and trip her by mistake. Once she got closer she noticed the blood and that he was dripping wet. The bucket was the thing that seemed to interest her most, but she didn't say anything. Staring at his hands she decided to ask. "There are easier less bloody ways to hurt someone, ya know?" She joked. She knew it had nothing to do with hurting someone, but had to do with what was in the bucket. She smiled at him and her voice was full of happiness and joy. She seemed rather unusually happy.

"Ah, if only there were less bloody ways of gathering European Scathe Leeches." He said, a broad grin on his face. "I'd repair my hands, but 'm proud of my accomplishment, so I'll wear the wounds proudly" He flicked his head, putting his soaked white hair out of his face.

Johana chuckled a little at his comment. She nodded a little and her curiosity simmered down out of her mind. She dropped her skirt on the floor, she was tired of holding it and she wasn't walking anywhere. The cloth fell in a puddle of water and slowly soaked up the water making it damp. She stared at the wounds just smiling at him.
"Sounds like a good idea to me." She spoke with a big grin and a loving tone to her voice.

"I'm assuming you want to know what these are?" Gyan asked, a small hint of mischeif in his voice.

Johana stared at him blankly. She knew what they were since he just said it, she didn't know what they did but it didn't matter if she knew or not. She smiled kindly at him. "Well you said they were European Scathe Leeche, but I'm guessing they do something..." She didn't know what to say so she just asked. "And what is it that they do?" She smiled again.

Gyan pulled a shell out of the bag, holding it with his middle finger and thumb while pressing on the tip of it with his forefinger. "Potion ingrediant, for removing blood probelms. You have to hold them just right, or they get nasty" He added.

Johana stared at the shell wanting to touch it, but resisted the urge to. She looked up at him and smiled a little at him. She yawned a little feeling the dampness on her skirt on her feet. She shook her head a little staring at his bloody hands.
"Oh, well at least you know how to hold them right." She chuckled then smiled kindly at him.

"Yeah, but the little buggers get testy when you try to collect them from the bottom of the lake. Here, I'm sure you wont mind a little pain", he said, handing Johana the shell. It unwraveled, looking like, well a leech. It sprang into the air and rocketed towards Johana's open hand, boring its teeth into the soft flesh.

Johana stared at the shell unravel then stared to stammer a little. She didn't know what to expect. She watched it spring into the air and she flinched a little. Then it landed sinking it's sharp teeth into her skin. She moaned a little as the blood leaked from the wound. She looked up at Gyan, glancing at her hand with the leech attached to it.
"Well it doesn't hurt all that much. Just a slight sting at first." She chuckled a little looking back at the leech on her hand not making any effort to take it off. It really didn't bother her, plus she didn't know if there was a certain trick to getting them off so it wouldn't hurt her more, not that it hurt a lot really.

Gyan pulled out his wand and touched the leech, muttering "Incendio" and burning it off.
"So, what's going on, Johana?" He asked cheerfully. He was in an extrodinarilly good mood. This many leeches would earn him roughly fifty galleons if not more.

Johana flinched a little while it was burned off. She shook her head while she looked at the bottom of her dress. It was getting soaked. She took a deep breath in as she looked up at Gyan. She pondered his question, what was going on. She didn't know, all she knew was she has been really happy lately. Every now and then though she would glance as the blood streamed down her hand and drip onto the edge of her skirt. Good thing it was a dark purple so you couldn't tell.
"Uh... I think someone here likes me." She said chuckling and putting her finger over her mouth and shushed him and ended it with a subtle wink. She dropped her hand to her side then continued. "And there is this one guy in our class that looks oddly familiar, but whatever." She shook her head smiling. "Plus I'm in an oddly happy mood. More than usual. It is kind of strange." She shrugged a little. "What about you, Gyan?" She spoke with a chuckle in her voice as she moved a cluster of her silver hair to behind her ear. Her dress moved around the floor as she rested all her weight on one leg.

Gyan looked up again and smiled. "I'm in a very estatic mood. Despite having been srounging the bottom of the lake with a wand and my hands for the past hour." He said ginning. He was still soaking wet.

Johana stared at him then looked at her skirt. It was damper than before. She must have been standing in a puddle of water or something. She glanced at her hand as a small river of blood streamed down it onto her skirt. She looked up at Gyan and smiled chuckling a little.
"We are both in really good moods. Odd a little but whatever ya know." She smiled again glancing down at her hand wondering if she should do something about it or not. She brushed the thought away looking back at Gyan. "Hmm... so..." She felt something strange roll up into her stomach. She wasn't sure what it was or what to say. She brought her hand, that wasn't covered in blood, across her stomach and clenched her side tightly. The pain seemed to dissipate when she did that. She smiled at him keeping her hand tight on her side and the other one next to her with blood dripping from it.
