Glad to be reprieved from work and stress and people for a time, Stradivarius reclined in a lesser-used spot on the grounds--dangerously close to the Whomping Willow, but just out of it's reach. It was straining desperately for him, but its longest branches fell perhaps a foot short of him. The boy relaxed comfortably against a warm rock, carefully tuning his violin strings.

Heck, both of y'all can join if you want. I don't mind too terribly. (And I'm sure the tree won't mind more prey.)

((haha nice))
Isabella was wondering aimlessly around when she saw a boy laying against a rock and messing with a violin. She walked over and sat next to him then looked at the tree that was trying to reach for him and she had a look of confusion as to what it was but she brushed it off then looked at the boy and smiled kindly.
"Hello." Her tone was warm and inviting.

Stradivarius looked up from his violin. A visitor. It was rather unexpected, but courtesy required that he be inviting... Though at the moment, he would rather her go away. But that was no reason to be classless. "Good evening. Oh, don't sit too close to the tree, by the way, or it'll try to kill you. Literally, " he greeted and warned the girl in the same sentence. "I'm Stradivarius deMorvang, by the way, it is my somewhat distracted pleasure to meet you, Miss...?"

Isabella looked up at the tree again and flinched back a little. She shrugged it off then looked at Stradivarius.
"Oh. Sorry rude of me to not introduce myself huh? The names Isabella. Isabella Waring. So, are you going to practice?" She gestured toward the violin and smiled.

Stradivarius nodded. "I was planning on it, yes. You can listen if you'd like, or if you'd rather talk, I suppose I can accomodate. I might not...ugh..." His voice trailed off as he caught sight of a distant figure approaching. Here we go...
((Don't post until I get Fork's piece posted, m'kay y'all?))

Fork marched very deliberately down the lawn towards where Stradivarius sat. "My dearest frog, or shall I say more of a toad, sir..." She declared as she came up to him, placing one fist on her hip. "I do believe you have a request to make. You certainly shan't be courting my Red* without my permission! However..." she narrowed her eyes at him. "In an effort to forward the spirit of...goodwill, or some such nonsense, much to my distaste I shall give you my permission to, ah...prevent any..... unnecessary difficulties." Her mouth was drawn in a thin line and her face was hard, but she stared down at him resolutely. She wouldn't forgive him now, no certainly not, she was merely calling a truce to their fighting lest Aislin be dismayed, and Fork knew that people tended to be quite unpredictable in every facet when dealing with matters of love, and if he and Fork were fighting, Fork wasn't sure who Aislin would choose, for she would certainly be angry at one, if not both of them, and might choose to disassociate herself with that particular person. So it was a safeguard for her, simply a completely selfish compromise, but he certainly didn't need to know that.
"So I call a truce."
*Red is a nickname for Aislin that Fork uses from time to time. She hasn't used it in a thread before, but it works. (I didn't really want to say, "My Aislin" so whatever.) Obviously it's in reference to her hair, if you didn't get that I'm going to hit you. :3

Sophia saw a few people near the whomping willow and made her way for them. She walked up as the Gryffindor girl said "so I call a truce". She plopped down near them and waited to be talked to messing with grass or her skirt in the meantime.

Fork glanced over at the girl in surprise, quite quickly distracted. "Curly Fishmas, "she said bluntly by way of greeting.

Stradivarius frowned slightly as Fork made her speech, and after a long consideration, nodded his silent agreement. He knew she wasn't saying this out of goodwill, but he certainly had no way of telling what she was thinking. Hateful girl. Shortly, another girl, a first-year Ravenclaw like him rifted up, but sat a short distance away, and Fork greeted her brightly. Having nothing to stand up to her words of welcome, Stradivarius remained silent and returned to tuning his violin, plucking the strings lightly every few seconds.

Sophia opened her mouth to speak then hesitate. Was that a greeting? Should I say some thing? She pondered for a little while and smiled lightly blushing like crazy.
"Uh... hello." She stood up and walked closer. She sat down closer to Stradivarius to join them all.
She hugged her knees close to her chest and sat there in silence waiting for someone to say something again.

"Careful, " Stradivarius warned. "Sit too close to the tree and it'll kill you." He paused, and suddenly reprimanded himself silently. Where were his manners? "--Oh, I'm sorry, miss, I've misplaced my etiquette. My name is Stradivarius, Stradivarius deMorvang. You are?" Stradivarius inquired politely.

She flinched a little then turned to the boy beet red and smiled lightly.
"I'm Sophia. Sophia Romha, nice to meet you Stradivarius." She smiled happily then turned toward the girl and greeted her. "May I ask who you are miss?"
She tightened her grip on her legs and smiled awkwardly as if she was hiding something. She was only very nervous though. Her cheeks were bright red.

Fork pulled a series of undescribable faces. "Who I am? You don't know who I am?" She let out a slightly crazy-sounding laugh. "In such saying you admit that if I were to give you a misnomer, a pseudonym, perhaps, you would not know it, you would go about believing that I was said person until someone or perhaps myself told you otherwise?" She gave Sophia a crooked grin. "Well, seeing as how I am in such a spirit of goodwill--"Fork threw a glance at Stradivarius, "I will do no such thing and merely tell you that I am Fork, and you may refer to me as such." At last she gave Sophia a sweet smile, as if she were particularly harmless.
