(Im glad you caught that, Im trying to give each of our characters chance to be powerful)
Dusoan simply smiled at the confident youth.
"Perhaps I could not, but a master could. I didn't tell you about the third type of battle, awareness-based. I do not understand it all, but it has to do with a battle fought solely within the mind. Masters of it can kill with a glance, and duels are fought simply by eye contact. Men will stand for hours, days even, just staring at each other. They will break out in sweats, spontaneous bleeding, all sorts of nasty things. Then, quite suddenly, one will gain control and win, the other will be dead. It is said it is a terrible way to die."
Dusoan's smile faded and his glance hardened, he was looking at something very far away.
"But enough about death and battle."
He mad that funny little motion and bow again
"I am called Dusoan Fadvn,"

Dusoan cocked his head, and that same muscle twitched near his temple, but he kept smiling.
"Does it sound middle eastern to you?"
Dusoan just stared a Gyan, niether boy's eyes betraying the thoughts that roamed beneath them. But in Dusoan's, at least, respect, and perhaps even a bit of admiration, lay not too far from the surface.
"It is of one of the Elder languages. Fadvn means "To lead" or "to bring"."

"Well, it's just that The name was fammilliar. I came accross it in one of my history books. There was a Turkish wizard named Fadvn Abu, but he was just an auror." Gyan said. He then breathed and spoke, "You want to get something to drink at the Hogs Head?"

"Of course. Lead the way."
This was something Dusoan understood: the age-old and universal ritual of friendship over a drink. As the two boys headed out Dusoan grinned, this boy new his way around, was skilled in magic, and thought like one of his own. This could be exactly who he had been looking for...
(I assume this thread is rather done and we will start a new one in Hogs Head. I might already have something there, if I do I can delete it. Do you want to start the Hogs Head one, or shall I?)
