Avalon walked in and sat at an empty desk.
"Oh, I was almost late." she whispered to herself.
She looked up at the board and said "I'm Avalon Grenlogious"

Raphael shook his head as he walked into class. He sat down in a random empty seat next to this Ravenclaw girl and Hufflepuff girl. He smiled nicely at them then stared at the black board. "Raphael Clemins." He smiled at the teacher.
He saw Tomas, which he met not too long ago at the Astronomy Tower. He also saw Gyan, whom he had met at the Whomping willow. He also saw another Ravenclaw boy he remembered passing by them at the Whomping willow. Then he notice a Slytherin girl he had run into at the Owlery, he couldn't remember her name.
The one person that caught his eye was a Gryffindor girl with long silver hair. Tomas had said her name was Johana, was it the girl he knew not too long ago? He just stared at her for a while trying to make it subtle. He shook his head and closed his eyes awaiting class to start.

"Yessir, my middle name is Mortimer, " Mo replied, eyeing the growing crowd of students with curiosity.

"Ah, " Kaelon grinned a little. Marking off more students names, and forming a list in his head as he often did--ten students, two Hufflepuffs, three Gryffindors, four Ravenclaws, and a Slytherin--stood, shifting to a position leaning against his desk rather than sitting on it. He'd give the class a few more minutes to settle, and let any stragglers show up, then it was worktime.
"Is there anyone else?" Kaelon asked whoever may have been listening.

Tomas was feeling a little bored he took out one of the few pencils he caried with him he perfered these to quils seeing as how they never needed to be dipped. he snapped it clean in half and begun working on repairing it with his wand.

"There should be a few more, Professor. I'm just not quite sure how many" Gyan finally answered seeing as how noone else would.

Kaelon chuckled a little. "Well, since you're starting it, would you like to teach it as well?" His grin dimmed a little. "And I'll sit around and be an asinine little child, eh?"
The boy's boldness amused him, but it was disrespectful as well, and that wasn't gonna fly with Kaelon.
Scratching quietly at an itch on the back of his neck, he decided nevertheless that class might as well start. Drawing his wand--eleven inches, slender, made of ironwood and augury feather, a rather odd and unusual core--he flicked it once and a number of small assorted wooden figurines appeared on each desk.
"As I'm sure you've all noticed, the lesson today is in the spell Reducto, which is used to cause minor explosions in inanimate objects. The figures are there for your use as targets. To cast the spell properly requires a quick, slashing flick of the wrist--like this-- and proper enunciation. Got it? And please be careful with your aim--reducto does not have particularly pleasing effects on human flesh."
He glanced around the room. "And the first student to successfully destroy all their figures will receive thirty points to their house."

Paolo blinked once, taking in what the professor had said, and set to work. She struggled to get the proper movement of the spell right for several minutes, but shortly after, she figured it out. "Reducto, " she murmured, "reducto, reducto, reducto, reducto..."
One by one, her small figures splintered to sharp little wooden shards.

Gyan smiled. This was his brothers favorite dueling spell. Gyan flicked his wand in the approprate way and said "Reducto!" The spell obliterated the figure sending chunks of it streaming through the room. Gyan winced, "Too much" he muttered.
He slowly knocked out the next one with much less force, and it went off like a small firecracker. As did the next two.
Gyan turned on his last one. "Wingardium Leviosa" He said, swishing and flicking his wand, sending it into the air. "Recucto!" He said, exploding it in mid-air. He diddn't care too much about points. He was having fun.

Chelsea walked into the room, just as the last spell was cast by Gyan and she smiled. Then she turned to Kaelon and smiled brightly. "[red]Hey Kae--er, Professor Reeve,[/red]" she said choking back laughter. She could not grasp the fact that Kaelon--her Kaelon-- was a teacher. The idea amused her for no apparent reason.
"[red]Do you mind if I sit in? This is my planning hour,[/red]" she asked her boyfriend, trying not to be too casual in front of his students.

Pepe ran into the classroom just behind the second professor. Cringing a little, he said, "Ugh, I'm so sorry I'm late, Professor... I'm Pepe van Lopaille..." he sheepishly crossed the room, and, following the actions of the other students, drew his wand.

Chelsea threw Kaelon a look that said 'be nice' and she smiled at Pepe. There might have been a good reason for the tardiness of this student.
