Maria jogged to where she had seen the Professor. She was quite out of breath, and very paranoid. She could have sworn she'd heard someone talking to her, but there hadn't been any people around. And I know exactly what happened, too. It had been a snake, obviously. She had never been able to hear voices, but seeing as she understood snakes . . .
Smiling sheepishly at her odd entrance, Maria took a seat on a nearby rock, trying to catch her breath. It was a wonderful day outside, and she'd enjoy it while it lasted. Just as long as her secret didn't run away with her, she was perfectly fine.

Jalayna coldly smiled at a second year as she sat on a rock similar to the other students. "What's your name?" She asked quietly.

Gyan strode down to his Care of Magical Creatures lesson. His brother had never been very good at this subject, so Gyan was on his own. Iggy had killed a bowtruckle, was sent to the hospital wing after run-ins with Hippogriphs, Blast-Ended Skrewts, and so on. Gyan gathered himself and kept walking.
He got to the edge of the forest, and saw a couple students and...The Headmistress was teaching again?

"I'm Maria Farmer." Maria said, blinking at the girl almost worriedly. She wasn't used to holding things from people, even if she didn't know them. "And, you are . . . ?" She asked. The girl appeared to be a first year.

Alexis jumped when she saw Maria, and gave out a little squeal. "Maria!" She shouted, and dropped all of her books in the mud. Taking a running leap, she tackled her older sister, knocking her to the ground from the rock. "Oh my gosh! I've not seen you for a whole two weeks!" Alexis grinned and got off of her sister, her mouth running wildly about events of the year.
"I've met soo many people! Oh, and I talked to Nicodemus as well! He was very kind to me and Aly, you know. We found him in the library, and oh, Maria I found out how to dance! And it wasn't as much as I found out, as it was that I remembered! Isn't that great?"
Alexis took a deep breath. "It was so great! Everyone has been so wonderful, and I've learned lots of magic and everything!"

Gyan slowed his pace when he reached the gaggle of students, one of them was on the ground and the other was babbaling incesivley. He gave his famous one-eyebrow-raised glance and plopped down on the cool grass.

Alyson followed her sister quietly, but also jumped in excitement when she saw her older sister Maria. Jogging a little to catch up, she sat herself on the ground next to her two sisters. Alexis was already excitedly jabbering about how much fun she had been having, and Aly patiently waited for her to finish. But, she didn't have much to say, except, "It's not as bad as I thought it would be."

Gyan looked moderatley bewildered. How many of them were there? He shifted in his seat and took out his copy of The Monster Book of Monsters, bounded by a belt. He took of the belt and ran his fingers down the spine to keep it from bitting his fingers off.

Quite startled by the crowd gathered near the edge of the forest, Fork was forced to sneak a little more carefully than usual to avoid notice. The best way, she supposed, to avoid trouble, would be to simply join the class. Not her preferred activity at the moment, particularly seeing as how she had no clue what class this was, but oh, well. She insinuated herself among the group with relative ease, chattering nonsense brightly into thin air for a few seconds, then retreated a little ways and stood perhaps a few feet behind the Farmer sisters.

Pepe drifted happily down the lawns to where the group of students awaiting COMC had gathered. This was the class he had been looking forward to, and he wouldn't let anyone ruin it, not even Gyan, who was sitting with his textbook on the grass. Pepe drew up next to Fork, who seemed tame enough at the moment.
"G'Morning miss Fork."

Gyan had barley noticed Pepe had walked over. He was buisy looking at the description of a Blast-Ended Skrewt. They looked as facinating as they were dangerous. Ten feet long, armored crab/scorpion things they were. Thick pincers, blast ends on the tips of their tails that could also sting, and blood suckers on the bottoms of their stomachs, their only weak spot.
Gyan smiled as the image of Pepe being thrown into a pit of them crossed his mind. It was a cheery thought, but he pushed it out of his mind as he looked at the nect page, he would have to concentrate on his lesson sooner or later.

Pepe noticed Gyan's surreptitious glance of malice, wnderingwha he was up to. Without sowing that he had notice, he turned to Fork, who seemed to be staring off into space.
"Fork?"
((By the way, if you don't know, Fork and I know each other in real life. We've pretty much cleared anything that might be considered god-modding with each other before it's written, so don't worry to much about it between us.))

Fork blinked at the sound of her name, jumping slightly. "--Oh, Happy Fishmas, Pepe..." She blinked a few more times, frowned, and muttered, "You don't kno why or how I got here, " nodding viciously, and returning to staring off into the forest.

Gyan stopped in mid-reading about the Threstral. His left ear twitched at the sound of "Fishmas". Fork? he thought. She diddn't seem to be the type to be interested in this class. Oh well, he thought again as he went back to his book.

Eduardo approached the group of gathered students and smiled at Pepe and the Gryffindor girl he was often near. "Beautiful morning, no?" He looked in the direction of the forest I wonder what sorts of fascinating and beautiful creatures live within these ordinary trees. I would like to paint some of them I suppose.
