Could it possibly take any longer to reach a place you've been destined to go your entire life? Unfortunately, Hogwarts hasn't proven itself to be a particularly attractive place recently.
I suppose I'm just a little... uneasy coming here. It took far too much persuasion to get my parents to allow me here, which is probably part of the cause. And as usual, "persuasion" here means screaming, violence, and extreme amounts of patience and pain on my part.
My back still hurts, as no one seemed to want to heal the cuts... And my shoulder is still sore. At least my sister took the time to reset the dislocated joint. None too gently, I might add, but I'll take what I can get.
Nevertheless, I have definitely found staying at Hogwarts preferable to remaining with my family so far, so I really shouldn't complain. The only thing that really bother me right now is I have heard a few students gossiping in the hallway about a certain personage called 'Fork'. Given how ...uncommon the name is, I can't think of anyone it could possibly be other than Klarisa, but I dearly hope to the contrary, that some other, or any other person took the word as a name, that Klarisa, that fiend of a girl is not at Hogwarts... If she is, well, it will certainly make for a more interesting stay.
Fortunately, I have not run into her yet, and I don't look forward to the day I do. The girl has... ...Very noticeable difficulty in discerning right from wrong, and such necessary distinguishments, and that truly bothers me.
I won't linger over this particular journal entry for long, as I must go to sleep now, I have classes quite early tomorrow, and I haven't gotten much sleep since I made the demand of coming here to my parents. In other words, I haven't slept much in the last two and a half months, but that's beside the point. The concept of a comfortable night's sleep is sounding very, very inviting right now, so I am going to turn in early. Good night.
