Gyan sat his duffle bag on the steps of the bottom of the stone steps. The dungeons were cool and dark, and the bottom of the stairs was lit by a single torch. He opened his pack and drew out a wooden case, much like a muggle tackle box.
"Allright, I've got the lacewing flies, and a slab of boomslang skin, now where did I put that- ah, here it is" He said, drawing a leather pouch from the case and dropping the skin in. He than put the flies into a vial and corked it.

Pepe treaded slowly down the corridor, glancing curiously about. He was looking for the Headmistress, actually, someoneha told him she was down here teaching a class, but he'd been meaning to make inquiries about the storage cupboard; there were a few experiments he'd been planning, but lacked both ingrediants and the funding he needed to buy them himself. Ah, well, that's how it goes with aspirations..."
Just as he was about to head down a dim hallway, he head murmuring from the other direction, from near the steps. Pepe frowned, changing direction on an impulse. The voie sunded familiar.
"...flies, and a slab of boomlang..."
Pepe narrowed his eyes. Very familiar.
Standing, just outside the circle of torchlight, he spoke "If I recall correctly, one of the only potions including both lacewings and boomslang skin is the rather infamous Polyjuice Potion, " Pepe stated, a threatening, but curious note in his voice. "I am rather curious as to why you would be interested in such a thing, " he said more quietly, stepping unthreateningly into the torchlight.

With a flick of his wand, Gyan extinguished the torch, bathing the hallway in darkness and standing up. "Indeed, LoPaille, I am brewing Polyjuice potion." He smirked, "Why do you ask?"

Pepe shrugged, though he knew Gyan couldn't see him. He wasn't at all bothered by the lack of light, he had never been particularly fazed by darkness. "Curiosity, " He replied casually. "I'm into potions myself, so it wasn't hard to recognize the ingredients."

Gyan was still cautious, but finished loading his ingrediants. He had pulled his bag onto his sholder when a jar slid out of the front of the bag. Gyan only noticed it when the crash shatterred the darkness. "Oh, bloody hell!" Gyan swore, re-igniting the torch. His jar of powdered stag beetles had crashed infront of Pepe.

Pepe backed up, alarmed slightly by the sudden crash, and lightly dazzled by the light. Blinking, he chuckled slightly, "I would offer to help, but I'm sure you're better equipped with spells to clean up anyhow." He grinned slightly. "Though really, what are you planning to do with Polyjuice?"

"Yes, I can repair the jar, but I can't put the ingrediants back in the jar. Plus" he said, scooping up what looked horribly like mucus from the dungeon floor, "This compleatley ruined my beetles."
He stared at the mess with a scowl on his face. "I was making the potion merely out of practice, but it also fetches for a nice price." He added. "Fifty galleons a serving is what this bloke in London's paying me.".

((Warning: A little god-modding. If you don'tlike it, I'll change it. I'm assuming you fixed the jar already, Gyan. ))
"If you don't mind..." Pepe drew his wand from his jeans pocket. "Aliguar vitiae."
The mass of powder rose in a slightly deformed ball from the groun, shook itself free of moisture, and placed itself obligingly back in the jar.
Pepe stuck his wand back in his pocket. "No, it's not a registered spell, " he answered Gyan's expession with amusement. "However, if you're willing to work around her, uh... difficulties, Fork is quite a genius. She's got a whole bunch of unregistered spells she developed that are incredibly useful."

"Interesting, I'll ask her about them." Gyan said. "And, thanks for putting my potion ingrediants back." He finished. He's not so bad when he's not being a git, Gyan thought.

Pepe shrugged again. "No problem. I hate seing good ingredients go to waste."
He wondered vaguely if he should try to reconcile with Gyan. It might be a good idea...
"So, um, anyway, I figure, with everything going on... It's kind of stupid holding grudges, you know? So... I apologize for any previous unintentional offense, and call a truce, no hard feelings kept. Yah?" he raised his eyebrows, offering a hand to Gyan, waiting fo his response.

Gyan thought a minute, and his left ear gave a little twitch. A grin appeared on his face and he shook the hand. "Truce. But I won't say I won't be tempted to hex you if you start acting like a git again" He said, still smiling.

Pepe grinned slightly. " Unintentional, as I said. And as long as it remains merely a temptation..." He gave Gyan a reproving look. " Anyways, I do have to go find the Headmistress, so I shall bid you goo day and b off n my way. Good day." And with his usual smile, Pepe left, gliding gently up the steps. ((Aaaaand, unless you have anything more to say, We can end it there. Except now we still have to finish the classes with them hating each other. ))
