Sophia walked into the owlery calmly hoping none of the birds would attack her. She smiled at one of them holding out her hand. "Silweed." She whispered as a brown owl with a white brown spotted belly flew to her. It perched on her arm and she put a letter in its mouth. "Send this to my room. Set it on my bed. It is something I'll need to remember when I get back."
Sophia yawned then walked over to the window and let her owl fly away. She sighed and waited for it to return.

With a sketch book in one hand and his paints in the other, Eduardo walked into the owlery to paint the stunning birds that he had grown to love and respect. As he entered he noticed a girl standing in front of a window. "Hi, I'm Eduerdo... I've seen you before but i've never caught your name"

Sophia turned immediatly at the sound of someone talking. She smiled awkwardly blushing a little. She shook her head a little then smiled again. "I'm Sophia Romha." She nodded in his direction.

Paolo trudged silently up the stairs, hearing voices at the top from the Owlery. She wasn't pleased with coming up here, but there was a letter to be sent. And owls didn't bother her too much. Usually.
Reaching the door, she found a Hufflepuff boy--he looked Spanish--whom she had heard introduce himself as Eduardo, and a shy-looking Ravenclaw girl who had just called herself Sophia as Paolo walked in. Paolo paused in the doorway, glancing at each of them, and crossed the room without saying anything.
"Sanguis..." she whispered, and her owl, a reddish brown desert owl, came fluttering down to her. "Here." Paolo tied her letter to it's leg. "You know where to take it."
((Sorry, Sophia, but I'm stealing your speech color. It's the only one I found that was suitable.))

Eduardo nodded to the girl who had entered then turned back to Sophia, "Will you help me pick an owl to paint? Thats why i came up here." He smiled at her and felt strangely at ease.

Sophia cheeks turned red as she stared at the boy. She shook her head moving her hair slowly behind her ears. Nodding toward Eduardo she smiled kindly. She glanced around cautiously so the birds would hurt her. She stopped when she reached an owl that she had seen Gyan talk to and another snowy white owl both pertched on the window sill.
Sophia looked back at Eduard and smiled then walked over to him. She then looked back at the two sleeping owls and smiled calmly at them. "How about the two at that window?" Her tone was low as if not to disturb their slumber. She pointed at the two owls so Edurado would know which she was talking about. She nodded at the girl who had just walked in. She noticed her tieing the letter to the bird's leg and wondered if that was her bird or a school's bird she was using. She shook her head and looked back at Edurado and kindly smiled at him.
[[And it is ok! I don't mind at all.]]

Eduardo looked at the two birds that Sophia had indicated and smiled. Turning back to her he said in a hushed tone, "Good choice!" He sat down and quickly sketched the two sleeping forms. "Do you draw?" he said without looking up.

Sophia smiled when he said that. I did something right for a change! she thought coldly to herself. She shrugged then pondered his question a little straining to remember if she ever tried drawing. She bobbed her head from side to side trying to remember. Finally she did and she perked up smiling. She sat down calmly next to Eduardo who was concentrating on his drawing.
"Me? Not really. Maybe. I never really tried. My friend Isabella likes to draw sometimes and write. She writes more, but she does draw. A little, kind of." She smiled laughing at the fact that.. she didn't even know really. She shook her head at gazed at Eduardo's picture as he drew.

"Isabella?" he looked up from his drawing and frowned. The name sounded slightly familiar but he wasn't sure. "What does she draw? I'd love to meet her!" He smiled hopefully at the thought of meeting another artist. He was taken aback by Sophia, she seemed like such a kind person, and yet gave off the sense of being troubled. "Something on your mind?" he asked softly as he began drawing again.

"Isabella?" She smiled awkwardly when he said her name. She didn't like that name all that much, but she did love Isabella. She smiled aimlessly then heard him say something again. "I'd love to meet her!" She only heard the last part since she wasn't paying much attention. She smiled again taking a deep breath in then letting it go.
She opened her mouth to speak just as he asked her what was wrong. She pondered a minute then sighed heavily. "Just thinking is all." She shrugged a little then shook her head shaking all her thoughts out of her head. She yawned slightly then continued to watch him draw.

"Ah, OK! sometimes it's nice to get away from the scrambling people and think" Eduardo answered kindly as he finished his sketch and pulled out his paints to begin the final details and color.
He paused and looked up at her, "Do you like it?" He felt happy to be drawing again but even more so he was enjoying the company.

Sophia smiled gently and nodded. She liked Eduardo, which was strange for her. It took her a while to like someone. She didn't like him in a 'I want to be with him' sort of way but she did like him none the less. She nodded and then shook her head shaking all the random bad thoughts out of it.
She scratched at the small dime sized dragon at the base of her elbow on the inside. "Yes. It is turning out lovely." She smiled again at him looking around hoping her owl will return soon so she would know it was safe.

Eduardo beamed at her compliment and slowly finished the detail color on the snowy owl and began on the other. He loved drawing birds because of their untamed beauty as they fly.
"How do you like your classes so far?" he calmly asked the age old question. He had been asked the question countless times himself and he hated it! But it was fun to bother people.

Sophia shook her head a little admiring the picture. She watched as her bird flew in and landed on a sill. She looked at Eduardo and smiled thinking about his question. She pondered for a second then decided to answer.
"They are alright." She smiled at him staring at her bird. She had kind of wished she wrote a letter to someone so she would have a reply. She sighed then admired how lovely her bird looked while it slept.
