One day while Noxi was walking down a strange path she noticed that there was a huge tree just to the side of the path. As she was walking down towards the tree she began to hear a very faint voice. Who's there?she asked in a quivering voice. It seemed that the closer that she got to the tree the louder the voice became. When she was just about a hundred feet from the tree she noticed that the tree was also moving. She began to wonder to herself How old is this tree. It is almost like it was planted hundreds of years ago when the school first started.

Pepe let out a soft yell and rolled aside as an unfamiliar Gryffindor girl nearly stepped on him. Shaking his head, he stared sleepily up at her from on all fours. Having been woken so suddenly from hs comfortable nap, it took several minutes for him to fully wake up. He wodered riefy why his vision was so fuzzy, but ashe shook his head again, he realized it was merely his bangs hanging over his eyes.

Fork sat gently, curled among the roots of the Willow. As a cat, the tree couldn't reach her, and the students couldn't recognize her, not unless their names were Aislin or Xander. She watched the approach of the girl passively, making no move to get up or greet her or otherwise, just sitting... Sitting and thinking, and enjoying the peace.

HOLY CRAP where did you come from. She screamed. By the way what are you doing by this old tree. She asked him in a voice that still sounded a little freaked out from him startling her.

Eduardo stalked around the small hill that overlooked a strange tree that seemed to move even when the wind was still. I don't know if I should find this tree strange... this whole place is! He crouched down to adjust his felt cat ears that were slipping into his face. Suddenly the soil beneath his feet gave way, sending him tumbling down the hill. He landed hard on his back as the wind was knocked from him. As he struggled to right himself he noticed with horror that someone had seen him. As he stared at the strange girl that stood before him he reached up for his cat ears but groaned inwardly as he discovered that during his fall the ears must have fallen off.

Standing, Fork shook her head lazily, stretched, and trotted happily out from under the tree. She paused, half sitting down to look up at the Gryffindor talking to Pepe, who crouched bewildered on the ground. She headbutted Pepe gently in the shoulder (he gave her a confused, sleepy glance) and continued on her way. A Huffle puff boy she didn't recognize sat on the ground, looking horrified at something or other, and as if he had just fallen. She sat down a few feet away to watch him curiously.

Eduardo looked up at the unfamiliar girl then stood up to brush himself off. "My name is Eduardo Velasquez... and you are? he calmly asked the two people in front of him. He glanced down at the cat ant sighed, "No this cat is not mine."

Pepe stood unsteadily. "Sorry..." He muttered, still sleepy. "Didn't think anyone'd be taking a walk by the Willow... Oh, hey Eduardo..."he yawned halfway through this greeting. "Oh...!" he tried to get the girl's attention. "What's your name, miss? ...And I think I've seen that cat around a few places..."
Pepe shook his head. Everything was happening really fast for his half-asleep brain. Wasn't the cat a... something?... He knew he'd seen it on the grounds before.

Eduardo audibly sighed, "It's good to see you Pepe!" The familiar feeling of love swept through him upon seeing his childhood friend. He again glanced at the cat and it did seem familiar but he just couldn't put his finger on it.

"Ha, yeah, it is! What're you so freaked about?" Pepe looked curiously at Eduardo.

Eduardo looked frantically around for a moment then looked at Pepe with his eyes filled with terror. "My... cat ears..." he looked like he was about to cry. His felt cat ears that he had been wearing were the exact same coloration as his cat Jesus. And he had had them since he was a very small boy. They were the only thing he had to remember of his grandmother who had died when he was only five.

As the two boys talked, Fork had been sitting complacently, but suddenly she rose, loping frantically across the lawn.

Pepe gave Eduardo an odd look. "Your what?" His friend looked like he was about to cry, which confused Pepe.

"My name is Noxi. If that was not your cat than whose was it?" She said this as she watched the cat run across the field of grass that was surrounding the willow.
