"Stupefy!" Gyan shouted, stunning the branch closest to him. He ducked and rolled forward to avoid the next two. He was in his jeans, black t-shirt and skate shoes. His stuff was on the hillside out of reach of the tree.
"Impedimenta!" He barked, and the next branch froze. He turned around just in time to grab onto it and fling himself upward into the air. "Reducto!" He shouted and blasted the next two branches out of the way. He landed on the ground and rolled again to dodge the branch that peirced the ground where his head had been.
He jumped upward and was caught in the face by a thin branch. A large cut splintered his cheek, but he stood his ground. Ready to strike the next limb daring enough to attack.

Raphael strode aimlessly along the grounds when he saw the most peculiar sight, a tree wisping around trying to attack a Ravenclaw boy that stood there. He carelessly walked rather sheepishly over to the boy's stuff sitting out of reach. He stared at the seen for a minute before saying anything.
"'Ello. I don't mean to intrude, me. But, bullocks, what are you doing?" His British accent was very clear when he spoke. It was kind of hard to understand at first but once you got a hold of it you were fine. He tugged at his gray shirt pulling it down over his faded black jeans.

Gyan heard the voice and almost turned around when a very thick branch rocketed towards him. "EXPULSO!" He bellowed. The branch exploded violently. Gyan dove out of reach. When he picked himself up, he walked over to the boy. "I'm exercising" He said cheerfully.

Raphael stared at the boy for a second. He shook his head a little and shrugged. He smiled calmly at the boy and wondered what to say next. He finally decided on something after a while of pondering.
"Oh. Alright. What blood are you...?" He decided to ask that since he knew so many spells. Maybe he has been here for a while. He shrugged at the thought awaiting an answer scolding his accent. He didn't like it sometimes but he got used to it since he lived in England.

Stradivarius paused his walking--he had been headed toward the Whomping Willow((OOC: from the opposite side that y'all are on)) to sit nearby, because there weren't usually too many people around it--spotting a pair of boys talking on the other side of the tree. The tree's branches looked a little thinner than usual, too, but maybe that was just the angle he was looking from. He skirted the tree, heading toward the two boys, though he fully intended on merely passing by sliently. One of the boys he recognized as he drew nearer, was Gyan, whom he knew by name and reputation, though he had never actually met him (Stradivarius did pay attention to the people around him, though he didn't really interact with them much). The other boy looked new, he might not've even been sorted yet.

Gyan was taken mildly aback bythe question, but answered any way. "I'm a pure-blood. But I never really saw a difference between bloods." He said calmly.
Gyan awaited an answer, his cheek still bleeding, sweat still glistening on his skin, and the occasional random collored spark would shoot from the tip of his wand.

Raphael yawned and then shook his head trying to figure out how to explain his question. He smiled slightly at the boy and chuckled.
"Didn't intend to offend you, me, I was wondering since ya knew so many spells. I have nothing against the blood line thing." He smiled at him reassuring his words, and his accent made it sound kinder than it was intended to me but that was good, I guess. He shrugged staring at the tree.
"Bullocks what is that?" His curiosity finally got the best of him. It usually doesn't but the tree kept trying to reach for them, he had a strike of fear tingle up his spine and in his throat but he swallowed the feeling and left it alone.

"No harm done" He reassured the kid. He than turned to face the tree. "That, is a Whomping Willow. A very old, and very rare tree." He also added, with a smile, "And my favorite dueling partner."

Raphael stared at the boy and the tree. Has he gone bloody mad?! That thing, tree, could kill the batty boy! He shook his head fighting away the thought. He smiled slightly at the boy trying to figure out what to say.
"At least you can get a nice workout on that bloody tree." He said calmly, his accent made the comment not so mean.

"Speaking of bloody" Gyan said. He pointed his wand to his face and mutterred "Episkey". The wound sealed itself. And than he said, "Scourgify", and the blood cleaned itself from his cheek and clothes.
"Yeah, the tree gives both a magical workout, plus a helping hand on my dodging. I'm a Seeker" He added.

Raphael stared at the boy when he used magic and tilted his head. He was a pure-blood yes, but his parents acted like they weren't magical at all so he didn't know much stuff. It was really odd for them to not talk of magic or anything but he didn't mind. He smiled at the boy when he stopped talking. It was a confused smile.
"Seeker..? What is that...?" He just stared at him more. He really is barking mad, isn't he. He fought that thought away also trying not to look at him like he was strange.

Gyan felt the gaze bore into the back of his head. He than turned around and said to the boy, "I take it you've never heard of Quidditch, than?" He asked.

Raphael shrugged wondering if that was bad. "My mum never spoke of it, and my dad... well he doesn't talk to me really. My family is pure-blood but we don't talk of magic or do magic at home." He shrugged again like he didn't care, he didn't really.

Gyan's smile drooped a bit. He could easily understand the lack of parent contact. "Quidditch is a sport. It's played on broomsticks" Gyan began to explain. "OI!" He shouted. An extra-long branch had wormed it's way over and shot out towards the two. Gyan grabbed Raphael and forced him to the ground. "Protego!" He shouted. The sheild charm blocked the branch, but he had to shout, "Stupefy!" And stun it with a brilliant jet of red light on it's next come-around. The branch froze for a few seconds and retreated back to the tree.
"Sorry about that, the Willow tends to get a bit testy" He said to the boy on the ground. Gyan offered a hand to him.

Raphael hit the ground rather hard. He sat up and shook his head a little shaking the pain away. He smiled awkwardly at the boy then glancing at the tree. That tree is bloody dangerous! And this boy is kind of barking mad! Is everyone here mad? He chuckled at the thought grasping the boys hand tightly and pulling himself up.
"Thanks, luv." He smiled at the boy weakly brushing his brown hair out of his face. "Sound entertaining enough, I suppose." His face singed up as he made a confused look on his face. He shrugged shoving his hands deep into his pockets.
