Raphael was taken aback by his comment. He hung his head a little then fumbled in his pockets a little. The only thing running through his mind was 'not really'. All he really had was his mother. The family disowned his father and his mother too. Only Elizabeth talked to them, but she was always busy, she adopted four boys and one girl. He missed the girl though, she was nice. He had started to like her a little but hushed it away since she was 'family'. He shrugged at the thought, he didn't like her anymore.
"Not really. My dad was disowned by the family and so was mum. The only one who still talks to us is dad's sister, Elizabeth C. Clemins, but she adopted like five kids since her husband left her 'cause she couldn't have kids. So really all I have is my mum. But I do understand what you mean. And I am lucky I least have a family, even though they all hate us." He shrugged and shook his head. He didn't really care he just liked to talk about random nothing. He didn't know why he just did. He looked at Gyan and smiled.

"Sorry about the comment. I'm just kind of sensitive when it comes to families. See, I was raised by my brother since I was four. My mother, Kaitlyn Longbottom, married my dad, Aiden Salamanece. Mom died two years after I was born, and Dad was thrown into Azkaban the same year. My brother was 18 at the time and raised me himself, teaching me as much magic as he could. That's why I know so much more than most students." Gyan explained. It felt good to have someone to just talk with and not have to worry about it going all emotional and lovey like it usually went with girls.

Raphael just stared at him for a second wondering what he should say. "Wow, that's rough. I'm sorry." He gazed lightly at him. "Well at least you are still here." He chuckled a little trying to lighten the mood off all this depressing stuff. He was fairly mellow but every so often he would get depressing and it always bothered him. It did pass though. He smiled at Gyan trying to hide his spark of sadness that just rolled up into his mind.

"Yeah, at least I'm still here" He said, staring at the sky. He was not sure how long he watched the clouds. A few hours? No, mabey a month. Yeah, that had to be it. Or mabey a few seconds. He had no clue. He was just taking in the peace of the moment. Resisting his sudden urge to resume his attack on the Willow.

Raphael chuckled a little randomly for no reason. He looked at the tree a little, he was beginning to hate that thing. He shook his head and stared at Gyan not knowing what to say next.

Gyan looked back at the boy. "You wanna sit down"? he asked finally. Gyan was beginning to like this kid.

Raphael yawned lightly then sat down. "Yes thanks." He smiled at Gyan.

Gyan sat back and felt the grass between his fingers. "Raphael, have you ever seen evil?" He asked, looking into the boys eyes, his white hair falling back into his face.

Raphael stared at him trying to understand the question. He wasn't sure if he meant common evil or high magic that he didn't understand. He just stayed quiet as he tried to figure out what he meant. He yawned then leaned back forgetting that he was outside so he toppled over onto his back. "Ow." He moaned since he nearly twisted his leg.
He sat up and stared at Gyan a little longer before speaking. "Can't say that I have, why?" He looked at him with pure confusion in his eyes.

Gyan looked away and answered. "Because it's everywhere. But true evil, I've looked it in the eyes. And it was scared. It ran away, it couldn't stand the fact someone could look it in those cold black eyes."
Gyan shuddered as he remembered his confrontation with Professor Dean. The battle that had taken place, and how he had cowardly trapped Gyan and fled.
"It's something I only want to do one more time. And that time, I will make sure it's finished" He said, smiling.

Raphael stared at Gyan. His ambition was tremendous. He didn't know what to say. He wasn't sure if he should. She shook his head folding his hands across his chest looking at Gyan.
"Well I hope you get that chance." He said with a smile. He wanted to say something else but wasn't sure what he should say so he just stayed quiet after his statement.

Gyan looked at Raphael and smiled a bit. He's rather attractive. The thought skimmed his head and left as soon as it came. Gyan blinked, and spoke. "So, been bombarded with notes from girls yet"? He asked. He himself had gotten sick of them and began setting them aflame unless they were from Isabella, Sophia, Tomas, Alexis or Maria.

Raphael started laughing a little then stopped shortly after he started. He shook his head looking up at Gyan. He smiled kindly at him.
"Yes. Well girls form my old schools." He sighed a little. "They wont stop. Even if I return the letter askin' them to stop!" A slight rage rustled up in his voice but was hushed just as fast as it came. He smiled again at Gyan waiting for his response, hoping he wouldn't comment on his sudden rage.

"Ha, I've just began setting them on fire. It's rather amusing seeing their faces when their 'confessions' go up in smoke" Gyan said, another smile stretching across his face. The sky suddenly turned a slight grey, and Gyan felt a drop of rain fall onto his face.

Raphael chuckled nodding in agreement. He smiled at Gyan as a drop of water hit his shoulder. He stared at his shoulder then up and the sky, it was gray. He smiled at the clouds as they rolled in.
"Rain." He said lightly. It floated in the air between them both.
