Nicholi sat down in the headmaster's chair and sighed slightly. It was almost dinner time, and he was exhausted from travel.
He was a gentle looking man. He had a closley shaven face that was a gentle tan like the rest of his skin. He had short orange hair, about to the tips of his ears. and it was slightly askew. He had a slightly rounded face, as if from too much laughter. He was a medium built man. Not as in muscle, but as in bone size. He was about six feet tall, and weighed 250 pounds. He was dressed in his old blue colonial uniform because it was his first day as Headmaster.
He flicked out his wand, filled the goblet infront of him with clear water, put it back, and drank deeply. Now all he had to do was wait.

[Yep ^-^]
Iggy came in through a back door, dressed in his usual. His hair was brushed and back in a pontytail though, and he had recently shaved. After seating himself down at the emptey Ravenclaw table, he turned and faced the man now occupying the headmaster's chair. "Nicholi, nice trip I suppose?" He asked casually.

Kaelon ambled in his typical slouched, relaxed manner into the Great Hall. He had overheard much talk of the change of headmasters, but... Well, hopefully here he would find out the straight truth. He was somewhat better dressed than usual--a pair of jeans in a state of not-as-dilapidated-as-the-rest, and a moderately well-ironed black collared button-down shirt, though it was untucked, and he was freshly shaven. The only discrepancy seemed to be his hair, which appeared to be staging some sort of rebellion.
Eventually finding his way up to the teacher's table, and nodding amiably to Iggy on the way, he glanced curiously at the new man sitting in the headmaster's chair, then at the table, silently inquiring where he should seat himself.

Fork poked her head in the door, eyes wide and lips pursed as if fanning her imaginary whiskers forward. She stared at the three men inside as if she had never seen such a thing, and then curled a hand around the edge of the door as well, slowly inching her way bit by bit into the room, until she stood fully inside the doorway, though she came no further into the room.

Nicholi raised his head and smiled warmly. "Yes, Iggnatius, it was quite monotonous" He said. He squinted slightly at the shadow that was Fork. Nicholi had browsed through the student files and knew who she was. He had a photographic memory after all. "Klarisa Rhamhah, please come in. Dinner is almost ready, and I've had the elves prepare a feast rather than ordinary dinner." He said cheerily.
He than turned his head to the man who sat down at a teachers chair. "Hello there, Kaleon was it?" He asked, doing his best to keep his manners in check.

The next figure to enter was another professor, clad, for once, in the typical robes of a wizard though they failed to be worn in the correct manner and seemed to hang limply off his figure despte their cleanliness. They're brand new, dammit.
"Here," he announced, making gesture similar to an army salute with a matching blank expression.
Xander followed in quickly behind excitedly running into the room and consequently to the back of his future Professor. Muttering a quick and clearly forced apology (which earned him a subtle kick in the heels) he stood somewhere beside Fork and preformed his most innocent smile, waiting to be acknowledged.

Gyan strode in and sat down across the table from his brother. The young Ravenclaw set his head on his desk, and diddn't say a word. He was exhausted, and really just wanted to sleep.

Ranyr tapped lightly on the door to announce her presence, remaining where she was for a moment before subtley making her way to a seat. She had fancied herself up slightly in attempts to make a good impression on the new headmaster, and smiled faintly in his direction though held an otherwise utterly emotionless countenance.

"Nnk!" Fork flinched visibly at the use of her name by the headmaster. While she stood for a moment with her shoulders hunched and hands crooked up close to her chest, several other people entered, including Xander, upon whose arrival she relaxed somewhat. She gave him a blank stare for a split second, and then her broad toothy Chesire grin, and set off to her seat with arms swinging, the creepy grin still directed back towards him until she couldn't turn her head that far any longer.

Kaelon nodded. "Yes, sir." He cast about silently for something to say, but drew a blank, and left it to the others entering to hopefully distract the new headmaster from his ill-mannered silence.

Nicholi gave a booming laugh and sat back in his chair. "I hope this is not all the famous school of Hogwarts has to offer?" He asked loudly, taking a drink from a flagon in front of him.

Chelsea ran into the Great Hall, pulling Aislin by the hand behind her. She slowed immediately in the entry way and smile, making herself appear to have walked the whole way. She nudged Aislin in the direction of Fork, and Aislin walked over, her face flushed.
"[red]Hello Fork,[/red]" she greeted her friend. Chelsea strode towards the table at the front, and quietly sat down beside Kaelon. She was hesitant to say anything, as he looked in a right foul mood, but she nudged him with her knee and gave him a small smile.
"[maroon]Is everything alright?[/maroon]" she asked under her breath.

"Yeah, I'm fine, why?"

Ranyr cringed visibly at the Headmaster's obnoxious laughter. Was this really who was to replace Ex-Headmistress Haleigh? Her expecations were not high, but this was absurd.
---
Xander's eyes followed the girl most recent to enter the now-crowded office. She was certainly pretty, and apparantly ... friends with Fork... or something of the like. Not sure what to make of the situation, he kept to himself, resisting the urge to join both of them, reminding himself that the Gryffindor hadn't stood by him but taken her own seat elsewhere after he had approached her. Groaning in annoyance of his current lack of friends and the personal embarassment of that situation, he scanned the room again, seeing naught but Gyan (who didn't count) that he knew. He scowled, leaning back to be against the wall only to stumble as it was a little farther back than he expected.
---
The Professor scratched the back of his head with little attention to what was going on. He did, however, manage to note the other woman to walk in beside Kaelon, and grinned mentally. Was this the lovely lady he had previously mentioned? Not necessarily concerned, however, he was more or less in an inattentive daze, which was quite obvious in his expression.

Nicholi looked into his pumpkin juice and frowned. He was getting hyper again. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle of pills. After opening the cap and swallowing a few of the magic capsules, he replaced it into his pocket, sat back and waited for the medicine to take effect.
Out of his sheer boredom, he conjured up a small paper airplane. He enchanted it a bit, and began flying it around the room, a never-dissapearing trail of purple smoke and mult-color sparks trailing behind it. Childish, yes, but enough as he awaited more students to arrive. Haleigh had told him there were a lot more students than this.
