Chelsea smiled at Kaelon as he gave points to Pepe. "[red]That's why I love you...[/red]" she whispered softly shaking her head. He was good with the kids, and knew where to draw the line, and he understood that everything didn't have to be perfect...that fact in itself made HIM perfect. To Chelsea, at least.

Kaelon gave her a small, secret smile, taking her hand and squeezing it gently. There was nothing to say in his mind, or at least, no worthy way to express his feelings. Chelsea was just so wonderful. And it was so much nicer here, having protection; a steady job; not having to watch his and her backs constantly, fearing betrayal even from those he considered friends. It was such a relief to be safe, it took quite a load off his shoulders, and he could see the changes for the better in Chelsea, too, nearly all her prickliness and paranoia gone with having security.
Now he had only students and Chelsea to look after, instead of an entire center full of people who should have been asylum patients. Who more likely should have been dead. Executed. People whom... Well, he had been one of them, and so had she.

Chelsea squeezed his hand back. Her thoughts often drifted back to the time when they met and were stuck in the asylum. Meeting him was one of the only things that kept her sane, though she could hardly say that at first.
She still had her moments when it seemed as though the world was crashing down, but it wasn't as frequent here. Things were quieter and safer. And she had kids to look after. She couldn't break down all of the time when she had someone to protect.

Darcy ran into the classroom, clearly late. She stopped for a moment and took a breather. She saw that everyone else had taken out their wands and started casting spells.
"My god, I'm late to the second class too. I need a watch or something." she thought.
"Sorry I'm late, Professor." She said, turning red with embarrassment.

Gyan opened the left of his closed eye and looked at the new arrival. He closed the eye again, sighed, and continued his power napping. Hehe, noob. He thought, feeling a grin tug on the corners of his mouth.

Kaelon smiled easily. "It's all right. You're new, right?" he inquired curiously. "I'll let you off this once, " he grinned playfully. "What's your name?"

Chelsea smiled and winked at Darcy. Kaelon was in a good mood. She had never seen him let a late student off the hook. "You got lucky" she mouthed to Darcy over his shoulder, a smile on her face.
