((I'm posting for myself and Stradivarius. Oh, and I'm going to just assume there are no desks... Because that'd be boring.))
Stradivarius arrived, quietly rising through the trapdoor and taking a seat on the wooden floor of the tower roof. He was busy sorting through his bag when he was startled by a sudden severe chill down his spine, causing him to jump and drop the textbook he was holding.
Fork giggled as she slid away closer to the edge of the tower. She had always prided herself on her ability to move in utter silence, and it had been incredibly easy to follow Stradivarius--who was now glaring at her--to the class, which she was also taking, and simply run a finger down his spine.
But now was not a time for fighting and mischief. A calm, muffling hush seemed to preside over the space, so she merely sat back against the rampart and enjoyed the silence. Aislin should be here soon anyway, and they could talk and ignore him in peace.
Stradivarius cast her one last dark look before turning his back to her again. Pestilential beast. But it didn't really matter. As long as she didn't choose to pick a fight with him, hopefully class could go along smoothly. If he was exceptionally lucky, maybe Aislin might join the class, and he could sit with her.
((Lynn, you better join, 'cause this oughta be fun! I mean, come on! Just them in the same class will be interesting enough.))

Gyan sort of glided into the class. Astronomy always irked his brother, but interested Gyan. "Oh great..." he thought. "Fork"
Indeed, Fork and Stradivarius were there, along with the Headmistress. He was glad she was there, he diddn't feel like any akward confrontations.

Alyson stepped in quietly, her head slightly bowed. She wasn't very frightened any longer. No one had yet raised a wand at her, so she figured that if she minded her own business, she would be okay. And some of the witches and wizards had proved to be rather kind. So, Aly took a seat, not near anyone in particular.
She recognized the boy, and thought she knew his name. It was Stradivarius. He was in her year, and in several of the same classes, but she hadn't ever talked to the boy. The other two were completely unfamiliar to her. She wondered if Alexis knew any of them. And then she realized that Alexis wasn't there. Suddenly anxious, she wondered where her sister might be.

Fork gazed across the grounds from the tower, looked up at the stars, and peered down over the ramparts at the grassy ground below, and wondered if she could survive such a fall, for she was struck by the sudden urge to jump over the low wall. On all fours? Maybe I could land it.

Paolo ascended the stairs to the so-called Astronomy Tower, sliently cataloguing the student already there. Only three, one from each house except Slytherin. And the teacher. Whom, if Paolo wasn't mistaken, was also the Headmistress. Apparently, the school is short on teachers. She thought to herself. <OOC: I rather like this idea of coloring speech and thoughts... I'll tag onto the bandwagon!>
Picking her way silently around the edge, she took aseat against the rampart opposite where the Gryffindor girl was staring over the edge with a suicidal look on her face.
Paolo pulled her knees up to her chest, crossed her arms atop them, and rested her chin on her arms. She watched the other students closely, though outwardly, she just appeared sleepy.

Gyan smiled at the newcomer and went back to writing in a leather bound, journal, compleatley lost in his own thought.

Paolo stared with some surprise at the Ravenclaw boy who had smiled at her momentarily. Hm. How odd. What did he want?

Eduardo slipped slowly through the trapdoor, looking around he saw only a few people. He sat on the cool wooden floor a short length away from the girl he had met in the owlery but he couldn't remember her name. Sighing, he looked up at the stars and felt the familiar feeling of calm that he got from taking in their distant beauty. On many occasions he had tried to paint them but found that his artwork never did them justice. He waited quietly for the class to begin.

Gyan finished his pencil sketch of a large moth sitting on the branch of a dead tree in the middle of a graveyard. The moth had two eye markings on it's wings, and was the size of a small bird.
Gyan put the pencil behind his ear and sealed the journal's lock again with his wand. It was a neat device he had bought in Diagon Alley. The lock would only open to the touch of his wand.

Fork continued staring over the rampart for several minutes, until she realized with a start that several more students had arrived. A Slytherin girl who gave her the creeps just like the ghosts did--not a good sign-- and a Hufflepuff boy whom she'd seen somewhere before. It was that girly-boy, wasn't it? Fork would have to raid his trunk in his dormitory sometime.
She squashed that thought after a few moments amusement by it. Now was not the time for her inner troublemaker to appear. Again, Fork wondered whether she could survive a fall from this towertop.
