Me and Sprightly have been pretty swept up in our own problems. Mine have been related to me being a regular drama-mama in the dorms and the b-ball girls incessantly listening to Avril Lavigne. Also a creepy sorta-boyfriend in the Coast Guard who listed me as his sole contact in case something happens. If he dies at sea his mom doesn't get a call, but I do. Freak. Also I've been looking after my totally mad roomie, see below.
Sprightly's problems have been way more serious. Long story way short, I based Nico and his family heavily on Spry and hers. When she told her dad that she was soluditorian he told her that second place is the first loser. I want to rip that man's balls off 90% of the time. She wants to be a theatre major, which is apparently vastly inappropriate for a girl with a 'gifted' level I.Q. I hate her life and the violent mood swings that result when she's under stress.
The main reason I haven't been on is from dealing with her. Sometimes she vacuums the tiled hallways at midnight, she kisses or dances with everyones she meets, she barks like a dog and harasses freshmen and eighth graders. During these times I am her official handler. But then, oh then, she switches things up and goes on crying jags where I get to listen to tales of her pre-Deirdre life when she was molested by her roommate and crammed into lockers. These times I get to be her consoler, the lucky bastard who holds her head while she cries and tells her its darkest before dawn and she's an amazing person. [/rant]
True story, she is amazing in spite of all she's been through. The way she keeps her head held high in spite of all the things that have happened to her coupled with her disorder stand testament to her constitution. I still want to kill her dead. She has no business existing among humans, it's like Hunter S. Thompson said "One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
Anyway, what with exams and graduation happening we won't be on much even now. Really we're both quite spectacularly lazy with studying so we may well be on quite a bit provided someone remembers her medication and doesn't get whacked out again. But hey, you got a decent story out of me. A whiny emo story, but nonetheless, it's my story and I'm sticking to it.
