Do not, I repeat, DO NOT read this unless you want to spoil the book for yourself. I can guarantee that once people have replied here, there WILL BE SPOILERS!!! I posted this, because I really want to talk to SOMEONE about the book. Discontinue reading if you do not want to spoil the book.

My friend Jenna thought that the ending was too happy. She said that one of the three should have died. I disagree. Many fans, I think, would not have liked the book as much if someone in a relationship with someone else (EX: Ginny, Harry, Ron, or Hermione) died, and left someone alone.
As for Remus and Tonks. I am glad that they went together when they went. I don't think that I could have handled only one of them dying. It would be especially harsh.
Speaking of harsh, how about Harry blowing up at Lupin, eh? I was completely surprised, and I did not understand if it was Harry's original plan to have him go back to Tonks or not.
The fact that Snape was in love with Lily was certainly unexpected, but I loved it. It was so cool, especially when he told some other death eater not to use the word, "mudblood." I knew he was good all along, but I did not expect that much.
Nor did I expect it to be Albus's brother in the mirror. I thought that somehow, it was Dumbledore. That even though he was dead, there would have been a way for him to contact Harry, and a way that Sirius could too. The whole "veil" thing in the 5th book, where they could hear voices made me think that interworld communication between dead and alive people was possible.
As a last note, I would like to ask anyone who can, to explain why Harry didn't die. I read it, but I must admit, I did not grasp the concept completely.
