Gyan walked lightly, his wand light illuminating the dark and damp dungeon. The torches had been extinguised, so it was quite chilly. He looked back and asked "You allright so far?"

Ranyr had since composed herself and other calming things of the like. Her step was in time with his, though her eyes slightly narrowed in attempts to adjust to the new light. The wand was hardly much, and she eventually withdrew her own and lit it up with a whispered spell.
She waved it about experimentally, making brief patterns.
"Yeah," she answered, eyes on the glowing tip before they were forced back to th epath ahead. The dungeon was definately a lot cleaner than she had imagined, but the air still held a characterisically thick feel that made her skin clam up.
"You've been here before?"

"Several times, but not too far" Gyan said. They continued walking untill they reached a dead end.
Gyan set his wand down and sighed. "If I do something, will you swear to never tell anyone?"

Ranyr looked at him skeptically for a moment. Do what? She hardly knew him that well to keep a secret... yet...
Her head nodded, pigtails bobbing along with it. "I swear." She didn't really have much of a choice, anyway.

Gyan argued with himself and agreed. "Grab my wand will ya?"
Gyan transformed into his wite lunar moth form and fluttered through a gap in the stone. About a minute later, the dead end opened up to another hallway, with Gyan standing there. "My brother told me about this hallway" He said with a grin.

Ranyr nodded obediently, reaching down for his wand and taking it slowly, with a wary look. Quite suited too, seeing as almost as soon as her fingers touched the wood, Gyan had vanished.
Ranyr was immediately startled, and retracted the wand in a spastic manner, clutching it against herself with her own as her eyes spun about frantically to find her fellow house member. Eventually, she sighted a rather large moth. A White Lunar moth, in all exactitude. Calmly now, her eyes trailed it's movements till it sipped through a stone gap, through to the other side.
Ranyr smiled.
"So he was as much of a bother to the teachers as you, hm?" she asked, quite pleased with the scenario. "But uhh... how do I get there?" Not exactly willing to be left behind...

Gyan gave her instructions. "Tap the bricks arranged like the numbers of a telephone. Press 87742918. And yes, my brother taught me everything I know. Which is why I can probably out-duel most students, not to be be cocky at all, though." He added.

Ranyr raised an eyebrow. She was the only child in her family and learned everything on her own, which was quite a lot but ... not that much.
"If you could get in like that," she mumbled to herself, starting to tap against the bricks with her wand, "why turn into a moth?"
She completed the sequence in a rather short span of time. Soon enough, the bricks started to fold back on each other, melding into whichever brick had been set previously before, until the wall itself had dissapitated into the walls. It was an odd charm involving matter dispplacement but with the sequence security it was probably all the dungeons would need. Ranyr figured it better not to ask how his brother got ahold of this information. Perhaps he worked here?
Stepping over where the wall used to be, Ranyr relit her wand, searching about for the white moth that was Gyan.
"How much farther?"

Gyan re-appeared and stepped out of the shadows. "Because I needed to press my hand against a couple bricks back here while you unlocked them from there. My brother kind of broke it. He was trying to get past, got fed up with trying to figure out how and blew the wall open. But it re-formed after he had gotten past." He said with a smile.
"We've got about ten feet left, than it's straight down."
[If your really curious as to how my brother got around, he was like the Weasly twins put together, with a bit of Sirius Black and James Potter.]

Ranyr sighed, more at the fact this brother of his was constantly being mentioned. Gyan must really admire him, but seemed to be following him exactly. Sneaking around to get an ingredient versus just buying it seemed to be something this brother of his would do. It was hard to tell where similarities and mimicking were.
"Oh," she said in understanding, turning behind her to watch the wall close up behind her, though noting the irregular placement only visible on the back side.
"Your brother certainly seems interesting. What's he do?"

Gyan smiled. He was very fond and proud of his brother, seeing as how he was raised by him. "My brother is an auror. And one of the best. His names Iggy, and he's recently taken up a job here protecting the school. He's secretive about it though, so I dont see much of him"
Gyan continued walking and spoke again. "He's an animagus too. He's the one who taught me how to do it. He also taught me Occlumency and every spell I know" He said proudly. The two continued to walk when they reached a trapdoor. Gyan flicked it open with a twitch of his wand. "Well, it's nothing but down" He said. Gyan took a breath and jumped in.

Ranyr nodded silently. A shame, that. Ah well... She was more worried at how easily he was giving away animaguses. First himself followed by his brother...? Ranyr never thought she gave off that 'trusting' vibe, but perhaps that ran different for different people.
Her eyes stared at the trapdoor, watching Gyan open it magically and then just jump down. Frightened momentarily, she quickly relaxed at the sound of his feet hitting the ground. Not too far, she observed, though eased herself down the passage slowly, during which she tried to think of something to say so the conversation wouldn't die, but came up with nothing. They would soon come upon their goal as well, and she was wary of being heard.

Gyan waited for Raynr. He would modify her memory about him being an animagis later. The ground was a soft earth, and there was a dim lighting from a few faries floating around.
Gyan listened, and sure enough, he heard the heavy breathing of a Cerebrus nearby.
He slid his wand to it's holster on is leg and drew his old mahogany acoustic guitar, sliding it acrros his back. He pulled his lucky dragon scale pick from a pouch on the case and slid it into his fingers.
"C'mon Ranyr, we're close now" He said, his voice hushed. His Seeker eyes darting around the earthy dungeon room, searching for the massive beast.

Noting his hushed voice, Ranyr refrained from speaking and settled for a quick nod of understanding. The tired, lengthy breaths of the creature were clearly audible in the silence as if to keep her fully aware of it's presence; a brief warning that wouldn't last too long. Ranyr felt slightly unphased but remained apprehensive nonetheless.
They were stepping around cautiously, Gyan with his guitar in hand and Ranyr simply there for the entertainment of it all. The Cerberus, however, eventually loomed overhead, it's dark mass even blacker than the dimly lit dungeon room. Ranyr, gaping at it's size, stopped in her tracks, afraid it might detect them if they were to move closer. Unconcsciously she grabbed the sleeve of Gyan's shirt and gripped it relentlessly.

Gyan felt her grab his sleeve and stopped. "Your right, this is far enough". He sat down and held his instrument. He pulled out his wand and mutterd "Sonorus".
He began to strum it, the sound amplified about a hundred times. -{He's playing Every Rose Has It's Thorn by Poison}-
