(('Morning, loves.))
Stradivarius blinked sleepily at the book on the table in front of him, and clutched at his coffee mug with both hands, warming his stiff cold fingers. Normally, he lent himself to getting up early, but something about this morning was really kicking his butt. Taking a long, slow sip of coffee, he opened the cover of the book, and casting a less-than-interested glance over the authors, rejected the book, setting it aside as the third in a stack of rejected books, and pulling another from the top of a much larger stack of books that he considered to still be potentially useful. In other words, he hadn't decided whether they actually would be or not.
Pausing to yawn and take a slow sip of unsweetened, black coffee, he tugged the cuffs of his sweater a little farther to cover his hands. Lords, the library was frigid. A Compilation of the True Failings-- Stradivarius set the book on the rejected stack without bothering to finish reading the title. Does this place really have such a shoddy collection of books of history? One would think...
Dropping his head in mid-thought, Stradivarius rested his forehead on the wooden table, sleep overtaking him, his coffee mug still held loosely in his hands before him.
((Y'know, I can totally see him drinking straight black coffee. I mean, you know, Fork is the type to -really- dress up and load up her coffee, but Strad totally wouldn't do it.
Ahh, I need to stop this nonsense. :] ))

[[Lol.]]
Aislin walked into the room and smiled. She ran her hand over Strad's hair before sitting down, and she gently pried the coffee mug from his hands.
She took a sip and placed it back on the table in front of him. "[red]Wake up sleepy head,[/red]" Aislin said, resting her head on the table, her chin atop her hands.
She peered at him with a smile on her lips. "[red]Why are you so tired?[/red]" she asked.

Stradivarius picked his head up slowly. How long had he been asleep?
Giving Aislin a sleepy smile, he mused, "Probably because I was up all night?" He shrugged, taking a sip of coffee. "I was writing. Music, " Stradivarius explained, before she asked. "What time is it?"
He pulled another book from the stack.

"[red]I don't know what time it is...I don't really care either, to put it bluntly. It's the weekend. No classes, remember?[/red]" she said. Then something he said clicked in her mind. "[red]Wait--you write music?[/red]" she asked.
She gave him the most peculiar look and a half-smile. "[red]That's pretty cool...[/red]" she said seriously. He did look dead exhausted. "[red]Was there any particular reason you stayed up all night to write it though?[/red]" she asked. She wasn't trying to be critical.

((I'm posting as Fork as Strad because that's how I'm logged in and I don't feel like changing it. >.< ))
Stradivarius smiled lightly as she talked about no classes. He nodded. "Yeah, I write music. I stayed up all night because I can only write when I get inspiration, and if I wait to write it down, I forget." he chuckled a little. "And inspiration likes to strike at inconvenient times. What brings you to this particularly... cold ...room?" He tugged his sleeves even farther over his hands, lacing his fingers around his coffee mug again.

[[no worries]]
Aislin smiled at him. "[red]I know what you mean. I used to write poetry, right after my mum died. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and have something to pen...[/red]" she said. Aislin didn't write poetry anymore. Not since her sister died.
She watched Strad pull his sleeves down and she smiled. She was always cold. Her blood naturally ran hotter than humans, so everything always felt colder to her. Thinking about it, she let out a collective shudder.

"Oh, are you cold?" Stradivarius noted Aislin's shiver. "I can get more coffee, if you'd like... Or something else if you'd prefer. And you write poetry?" He shoved his stacks of books aside, yawning and covering his mouth politely. He didn't really feel like reading anyway, he was probably too tired to process any information.
It had been a while since he'd written any music, not for a few months anyway, and then it had only been a few edits to an older piece if his, not anything proper, until last night. He didn't have a title for this piece yet, but it still needed refining, so that could wait.
Letting go of the coffee, he folded his hands together gently. "What kind of poetry do you write?"
((wtf is he saying? where is this guy from? Eiffel tower? That must mean he is... FRENCH TOAST!!!!))

[[oui monsieur bonjour coquette, uh huh croissante vous a ver, maurice chevalier effeil tower, oh oui maria bagette bon soir, FRENCH TOAST FRENCH TOAST]!!!]
Aislin shrugged a little bit and conjured a bit of coffee. It was black, same as his, and she took a sip. "[red]I write different stuff. It all depends on how I'm feeling...I haven't written anything for months though. Not since....well, anyway, so did you finish your music last night?[/red]" she asked him.

Stradivarius nodded. "Yes. There are a few harmonies I need to straighten out, and it needs to be proofread, but yes, the basic piece is finished, " he elaborated. He had noticed Aislin's evasion of the question, but forestalled pressing the subject by taking a long swallow of coffee.
After a few moments thoughtful silence, he inquired, "Not to pry, but you said not since... what?"

[[Omg, we are retarded. Sorry, I'mm to lazy to sign outta this account]]
Aislin smiled at his question. She should have seen it coming. "[red]Since my sister died. You would think that, that certain incident would give me quite a lot to write about, but I haven't been...inspired. i haven't felt like writing, rather. I've lost my whole family...I don't have anyone left...[/red]" she finished. It sounded a bit dramatic, but she didn't mean it to. She really felt that it was true.

"Oh..." Stradivarius whispered. "I'm sorry. I have a little experience with being... alone. Sort of. And I know what you mean, you just feel... empty. Not at all inspired, even if it is emotional."

"[red]Yes...[/red]" Aislin whispered a bit sadly. "[red]That's exactly what I mean...have you ever felt that way, if you don't mind me asking that is...[/red]" Aislin inquired.

Stradivarius grimaced a little. "No, it's alright, and yes, I have... Probably not in the same way, but still."

Aislin smiled, not wanting to pry. Then a thought hit her. "[red]Oh god,[/red]" she whispered. Sometimes she got little flickers of feelings and thoughts from people. She closed her eyes and then put up her mental barriers. She didn't want to accidentally catch a bit of something he didn't want her to.
When they were up, she opened her eyes and blushed, knowing how silly she must have just looked.
